Keeper Memorials Cemetery Kiosk Software will Modernize Over 100 VA National Cemeteries in $12M Contract

Keeper Memorials, an award-winning digital memorialization platform, has been awarded a new $12M contract as subcontractor to modernize National Cemetery Administration’s (NCA) Cemetery Kiosk software. In partnership with GovCIO and the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Keeper will be implementing its scalable and customizable cemetery kiosk interface to enhance user experience and create greater interactivity and accessibility in over 100 national cemeteries across the country. 

Keeper’s vision, cemetery industry knowledge, and technical expertise aligns with the VA’s goal of providing a unified and seamless experience for veteran families both on site at cemeteries and from home. As such, Keeper’s role in the contract involves multiple enhancements with actionable solutions, providing a needed update to the current kiosk interface and technology which improves cemetery navigation, includes a native mobile application, and offers additional features to improve the user experience. Keeper will also further consolidate key data and APIs between NCA products to provide families with a holistic and consistent experience across systems.

This new contract is a continuation of the years-long partnership between Keeper, GovCIO, the VA, and the NCA beginning in 2019 with the Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) project. This continued partnership is an extension of their shared mission to help veteran families and communities preserve, share, and celebrate life stories.
