Grief and Parentification
A virtual conversation space where we discuss how parenting your parents, or becoming an adult too quickly can bring up feelings of disenfranchised grief, that is often invalidated and unspoken.

A Living Funeral Ceremony is an immersive meditative experience that encourages participants to face their own mortality. Through engaging in ritual and guidance through a death visualization–contemplating your own memorial as you imagine letting go of your earthly self–participants are invited to "die before you die, to live while you’re alive." This ceremonial experience provides a safe and supportive space to confront fears around death and impermanence, while also fostering a deeper connection to life’s fragility and beauty. Often compared to the experience of ego death, this ritual leaves many with a renewed sense of purpose and a profound appreciation […]

OPPORTUNITY FOR QUEER & TRANS PEOPLE TO PROCESS STRESS & GRIEVE AS A COMMUNITY.
According to a recent AARP study, there are over 52 million caregivers in the United States right now—and 70% of them say they are overwhelmed. Every single day, I receive messages from current and former caregivers who say: “I wish I had this knowledge when I was caring for my loved one.” Or: “The Doulagivers training is helping me more than I can say.” The truth is: We will all have a caregiving story. Let’s make sure yours is one filled with support, empowerment, and peace. That’s why I created The GOOD DEATH BOOK CLUB Experience—a free, live, 12-month educational […]
A community gathering to grieve, to connect, and to root in collective care ❤️🔥 "Unresolved grief inside a person is tragic. Unresolved grief inside a nation is catastrophic." -Valarie Kaur This Grief & Solidarity event is not just about grieving. It’s about weaving our collective sorrows into sustained action. It’s about being true allies for each other—not just in moments of crisis, but in the long, tender work of liberation. Together, we will move through gentle grounding, collective reflection, and community connection, with the intention of using grief as fuel for solidarity and justice. 🫀 All grief is welcome: personal, collective, systemic, […]
This July 4th weekend, we’re not celebrating — we’re tending to what’s been scorched and what’s still unfolding. Red, White & Bruised: The Soft Rebellion is a sound-centered gathering born from the grief in our city — in the wake of fires that choked our skies, and amid ongoing ICE raids that continue to separate families and spread fear. This is not a party. This is a place to rest. A meditative sound bath for the overburdened and the underheld. A quiet container to lay down your rage, your grief, your numbness, your breath. A space where stillness is protest, […]

The dead can leave behind so much stuff, from a few sentimental items, to entire homes stuffed to the brim. What to do with it can be complex and filled with conflicting emotions. This is a space to explore our relationships with the physical objects left behind by the dead, what to keep, what to pass on, what we are having hard feelings about, and what we celebrate. Queer Death Salon is a community space for all 2SLGBTQIA+ people to come together to discuss death, dying and grief. It is a facilitated drop-in discussion space, with the purpose of building […]
