On Monday\, September 22nd at 5:30p PT/8:30p ET\, we’ll embark on a virtual grief journey to navigate all the forms\, layers\, and shapes that grief takes. \nTogether we’ll tend to our grief through holistic and creative practices\, the medicine of nature\, and the presence of a caring community. With the support of Shadow\, our flower essence grief potion\, we’re invited to soften and expand as we practice letting go. \nOur journey begins with a somatic release meditation\, expressing our insights\, storytelling\, and closing with a baci blessing ritual. SUMMARY:Crying with Clay
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are a long-time griever or new to the experience\, join us for an evening of creative clay work. You will have the chance to connect with others who are navigating their own grief as well. In this workshop we will create ceramic grief jars\, or grief urns. Colleen from “Death Doula Does\,” will guide grievers in building a personal grief self-care ritual\, and teach them how to hold space for their journey with grief. \nTwo evenings are available: September 24th\, 6-9pm and October 22nd\, 6-9pm \nAll clay materials and firing are included\, and all participants will receive a grief care zine from Death Doula Does. \nCompleted grief jars will be ready for pick up approximately 2 weeks after completion. \nMasks are required for this class and will be provided. No cloth masks please.
