‘Stitch & Time’ Screening and Discussion

March 26, 2026 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
Virtual Event
Promo 1

Join us for a screening of ‘Stitch & Time,’ followed by a panel discussion and Q&A on Thursday, March 26 at 8pm ET | 7pm CT | 6pm MT | 5pm PT.

The docu-short ‘Stitch & Time’ portrays how Billy Ray Worth and Clay Turner, two incarcerated men serving life sentences, forge an extraordinary friendship through an unexpected act of compassion: starting a crochet group to make warm items for fellow inmates in hospice care.

Together, they lead a community of men who defy stereotypes about life behind bars, finding purpose and connection through caregiving and creativity. As the group collaborates on a special project—a crochet wall hanging for the hospice unit—their story becomes one of redemption, transformation, and the enduring power of human connection.

After the screening, there will be a panel discussion with the co-directors and producers of Stitch & Time and team members of the Humane Prison Hospice Project.

Following, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A with guests, before attendees are invited to a special opportunity to submit prompts for grief journals for incarcerated people.
