Join us as we welcome Maria Capolupo, Death Doula and Grief Support Specialist, to the Forest Lawn Chapel for our inaugural talk in a new series called Chapel Chats. This initiative will offer a variety of death care awareness programs and resources that promote a healthy attitude about mortality.
In her series “Ask a Death Doula”, Maria offers the opportunity for people in all phases of life to learn about all aspects of dying, death, and grief. One part educational conversation and one part Q & A, attendees are encouraged to ask any and all questions they’ve ever wanted to know (but have been afraid to ask) about death and death work.
Maria Capolupo is a Death Doula and Grief Support Specialist based in Buffalo, NY, dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the end-of-life journey with compassion and care. Offering a holistic approach, Maria helps clients experience meaningful, peaceful transitions, while ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process. In addition to one-on-one support, Maria gives lectures and educational sessions to groups and individuals, aiming to demystify death, dying, and grief. Through these sessions, she fosters open, informed conversations, empowering people to approach these inevitable life experiences and live life more fully.
